I want to thank my mom and dad because they have always put my siblings and our future first above everything else. It must have been hard to move away from a country where they grew up with all their family and friends that love and support them and where they built something for themselves. Just to move away from that love and support and start a brand new life in a foreign country with three small girls with no family close by to lean on when times get rough, just for the sake of giving us a chance at a better life. My mother and my father with everything they were juggling with like putting food on the table, walking us to school everyday and providing us with a roof over our heads with a big enough backyard to play around in and have a happy childhood, still managed to provide us with everything we needed and more.Their hard work led them to see all three of their kids graduate from highschool and go on to pursue their bachelor degrees in university. Through their dedication and perseverance raised three wonderful girls who are smart, caring, kind, helpful and above all else hardworking. By watching everything they have done and accomplished in just the span of the short 18 years of living in Canada from the big move from Nigeria has taught me the true definition of hard work. That nothing in this life worth having comes free and if you want something, you need to go out and get it yourself and put in that work so you can reap the benefits later. So with that from the bottom of my heart, with all my love I want to sincerely thank you for taking that leap of faith for your family and continuing to love us, care for us, teach us and molding me into the young woman I am today. I would be nowhere without you, thank you!
