Dear Mom,
I wanted to start by saying, you have been the most supportive person I have ever met. You’ve always sacrificed your happiness for mine. You were always making sure I was fed and clothed before you were. I have never met a stronger woman in my life. It’s been just us for the last little while and boy was it been hard.
When I made the decision to move to Vancouver to pursue my dreams, the word “no” never came out of your mouth, you knew you’d be far away from me for a long time but that never changed how much confidence you had in me and how much support you have given me in the last year. The amount of love you have shown me will constantly outweigh anyone else in my life.
Not only are you my mother but you’ve grown to be my absolute best friend and I would never change that for the world. I’m working hard to make you proud Mama, and I’m glad you see it all paying off, despite the struggles, there have been, there have been great times and great experiences.
So Mom, this is my thank you, thank you for never doubting me, for always supporting me and most of all for being my best friend when I’ve needed you!
I miss you more than words can say
I love you
