I want to thank my mom and dad because of all the sacrifices they have made to bring me to where I am today. My parents are immigrants from India. They had amazing lives with lots of money and their families in India, they gave all of that up to help give me a better future in a better country like Canada. They went from having everything, to having nothing, just to better my future. They came to Canada with nothing, they both had to go through schooling again while working part time jobs at Tim Horton's, so that they could take me to places in Ontario and around the world to explore. Today, I stand here as an indepedent individual at McMaster University heading towards the end of her Bachelors in Science because of the handwork, support and love of both of my parents. Thank you Mom and Dad. Thank you, for everything that you have done, the nights you have worked, while I slept, the days you have studied while I went to school and had fun. Thank you for investing your time, money and sweat to send me to McMaster University. Thank you for supporting all my decisions and guiding me the right direction when I get lost. I have no idea where I would be without the two of you. Words cannot express how thankful I am to be your daughter.
My parents have been working day and night to be able to send me to the best university, for the best education and have not gone on a single vacation for themselves. They have been doing this to support my future, as I want to become a doctor. I want to take this opportunity to thank them for thinking about my goals and future before their happiness. I will always remember all they have done for me and will continue to do for me.
Though we fight and argue it is all out of love. They always show me the right way and support my decisions. My mom has been wanting to go back to school in order to become a pharmacist, however, she has been holding back to help pay for education and help me succeed in life before herself. With this 20,000, it would help me send my mom back to school to become and pharmacist and it would let them fulfill their dreams and goals. They have helped me shine till today. Now it is their turn.

Thank you Mom and Dad
Love your one and only daughter,
